Balustrade

A timber balustrade offers a traditional look and our standard flat board top rail is handy as a bar or table. Options available include a midrail, laser cut feature board and breadloaf or ladies waist top rails.

Our timber balustrades use either the latest in pre-sealed and LOSP treated timber Pine or Kwilla hardwood. The support posts, as with all the balustrade designs, will be powdercoated aluminium or as an option, timber to match the roof posts.

Stainless steel cables are a modern form of balustrade with a clean look that doesn’t interfere with the view from your deck. We use a Kwilla flat board top rail with powdercoated aluminium supports. The stainless steel infill is placed horizontally and is tensioned with rigging screws.

Powdercoated aluminium panels can also be combined with a Kwilla top rail to provide a low maintenance solution, with the added benefit of being ‘child and pool safe’. As with any powdercoated product it is available in a wide choice of colours.

Glass balustrades are appealing because they can give an uninterrupted view from the deck. They are a sleek and modern style and a great way to bring the outdoors inside. We use a semi-frameless design with no top rail and safety glass panels supported by powdercoated aluminium posts with matching trims and base plates.
